Billing

Plans, pricing, and how to pay: USD by card from anywhere or ETB by bank transfer, renewals, the usage wallet, and billing help.

Last updated September 29, 2026

Pay in USD by card from anywhere in the world, or in Ethiopian Birr by bank transfer. Both work for every paid plan, so you don't need an international card to use EthioDeploy. Full feature lists are on the Pricing page.

Plans

PlanPrice / monthProjectsPer containerBranch previews
Free$01 project, sleeps after 30 min idle256 MB / 0.5 CPUNone
Pro$10 or 1,399 ETBNo fixed project cap, always-on1 GB / 1 CPU1 per project
Business$30 or 4,999 ETBNo fixed project cap, always-on, 5 team seats2 GB / 2 CPU2 per project
EnterpriseCustomDedicated infrastructure, SSO, SLACustomCustom

Custom domains, always-on hosting, larger Postgres and Redis storage, and a priority build queue come with the paid plans. Free projects sleep after 30 minutes without traffic and wake on the next request. See Branch deployments and Team access.

How to pay

  • Card (USD).Choose USD on the pricing page or in Settings → Billing. You're sent to a secure hosted checkout, and the plan renews automatically each month. Use the Manage link in Settings → Billing to update your card or cancel.
  • Bank transfer (ETB). Transfer the plan price, then enter the bank and your reference number. We verify it against the bank, usually within seconds. Each payment covers one 30-day period.

Renewal and changing plans

  • Card plans renew on their own. If you cancel, the plan is removed when the paid period ends.
  • Bank-transfer plansdon't renew on their own. Pay again before the date shown in Settings → Billing. There's a 2-day grace period after it passes, then the account moves back to Free.
  • If a price changes, the new price applies on your next renewal, not mid-period.

Usage and the wallet

Paid plans include a monthly compute quota. If you go past it, the extra usage is taken from your wallet, a prepaid balance in ETB that you top up by bank transfer from Settings → Billing. Free accounts have no wallet overage, so a Free project that uses up its quota is stopped until the next month.

Domains and agent mode

These are billed separately from your hosting plan, each with its own card and bank-transfer options. See Buying a domain and Agent plans & credit.

Billing problems

If a payment went through but your plan didn't change, give it a few minutes. Bank verification can take a little longer than usual. If it still hasn't updated, contact us with your reference number.
